Daryl Plankbuster is the deuteragonist and she is a female playable character in all versions of Rail Rush.
Appearance[]
Daryl Plankbuster is a girl with black, short hair in a ponytail with a blue headband. She wears a blue shirt tied around the diaphragm, revealing her midriff. She wears brown gloves and matching brown shorts, and brown boots which are only visible in-game. She holds two pistols, one in each hand. She resembles Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider video game series.

Daryl Plankbuster can automatically shoot left wooden obstacles with her twin pistols.
Strategy[]
As a very expensive "non-premium" character (in the mobile version), Daryl should be one of the first characters you buy. Her ability will pay off well. Since Daryl can destroy one particular kind of side obstacle, alternating pairs of side obstacles will no longer pose a threat to your run. However, she cannot eliminate side hazards in the other worlds. These hazards must be avoided by tilting the cart away from them.
If you want to complete a mission involving near-missing left obstacles, you cannot do so with Daryl, as she will blast every one of such obstacles before the cart ever approaches any of them. On the other hand, missions that require you to tilt your cart left for a certain distance will be easier, as Daryl will destroy all left obstacles that stand in the way.

- Her last name "Plankbuster" is obtained from her ability to shoot down left wooden obstacles, simply calling it "Plank(s)".
